Tomorrow I leave for the CIC** at Galway Downs. Every time I start thinking about it, like now, my palms get sweaty and I lose my appetite. This will be the biggest competition for Ginger and I so far. Wow am I excited, I spent some of my time yesterday in class studying for the two star. I watched videos of the cross country course from previous years just to be prepared for what may be ahead. At first it made me nervous and made me second guess if my horse could even jump higher than two feet. Then this morning I woke up an watched one video that really made me remember what we are capable of. I watched a video of Ginger and I competing two years ago. It reminded me of the horse I have underneath of me, our partnership, and the excitement that is to come this weekend.
